Which part of Singapore is one-north?

The city-state of Singapore is divided into five regions. The largest and most densely populated is the North-East region, home to Hougang and Seletar.

This is where you’ll find the city’s most vibrant districts, as well as many of its historical attractions. It’s also where you’ll find some of the island’s most beautiful parks.

Amongst the most popular sights in this part of town are the renowned Marina Bay Sands casino resort, Gardens by the Bay, the Singapore Zoo and Singapore Botanic Garden. Besides these, the region is home to several other attractions and museums.

Kampong Glam, Little India, Arab Street and Chinatown are all popular areas for tourists to explore and enjoy. These neighborhoods are home to a wide variety of ethnic groups and offer a glimpse into the different cultures that make up Singapore’s rich history.

These historic enclaves are dotted throughout the city and each one has its own unique history. In the past, these areas were home to a large population of Chinese and Indians. They lived in small clusters of homes built on stilts, surrounded by tropical rainforests and plantations.

Today, these traditional communities are slowly being replaced by new developments. These new development areas have many benefits, including better access to public transportation and more modern amenities.

The area is also becoming more environmentally friendly, with a strong emphasis on green and sustainable practices. This has led to a reduction in the amount of polluted air and water in Singapore.

It’s no surprise then that the area is home to a number of high-tech businesses and companies. These include Apple, whose global headquarters is here; and GSK, the British pharmaceutical company that has its Asia-Pacific headquarters in the one-north area.

Other major companies and organizations headquartered in this part of the city include ESSEC Business School’s Asian campus, the National University of Singapore, INSEAD and the Singapore Science Parks.

Amongst these organizations, one-north is also home to a number of research and innovation centres and facilities. These range from R&D hubs to media and biomedical research institutes.

These research and innovation centres are important to Singapore’s economy, as they support the nation’s efforts in promoting entrepreneurship and innovation. This is in keeping with Singapore’s mission to be a global centre for knowledge-based innovation.

In addition, a number of multinational companies have also chosen to base their offices in this part of the city. These include Shopee, a local e-commerce platform that operates across Southeast Asia and Taiwan, and French video game developer Naughty Dog, whose Singapore office is responsible for the majority of its Southeast Asian operations.

A*STAR, the country’s national scientific and research organisation, is another major contributor to the one-north ecosystem. This institute drives scientific discovery and technological processes that align with global trends.

As Singapore’s main science and research centre, A*STAR is a key player in the development of Singapore’s economic future. Besides conducting research, it also hosts international conferences and symposiums to help boost scientific innovation. Its headquarters is located in the one-north area, along with other research institutes in this part of the city. the hill one north condo
