Since launching in 2017, Nintendo Switch has amassed an incredible catalogue of games, from high-quality first-party titles to unique third-party releases. There’s also Cuphead, which blends airtight, extremely challenging bullet-hell 2D sidescrolling action with a delightful jazz soundtrack and hand-drawn 1930s style artwork that looks ripped straight out of a Disney cartoon. It’s a game that you’ll need to push yourself through but that is utterly enthralling, and the perfect showcase of the Switch’s unique capabilities.
