Explore Nusa Penida’s east side (and lesser-visited!) on this private tour. Unwind on pristine beaches far from the crowds at Suwehan Beach and Diamond Beach.

Discover cliffs and natural pools like Kelingking Beach, Broken Beach, and Angel’s Billabong. Visit Crystal Bay, a magical destination featuring turquoise waters enclosed by cliffs.

Atuh Beach

Atuh Beach is one of the most pristine beaches on Nusa Penida and offers some of the best views in the entire island. The glistening turquoise ocean is well-guarded by craggy green cliffs, while the perfectly-laid out stretch of white sand makes for a picture-perfect setting. There are also various limestone rock formations that add to the charm of this stunning beach.

The waters at Atuh Beach are calm and perfect for swimming or snorkeling. There are plenty of warungs lining the beach that serve seafood, fruit shakes, and ice-cold Bintangs. There are also several lounge chairs to rent for 50,000 IDR per pair. If you’re feeling adventurous, try the underwater cave tour at Atuh Beach. It’s not for the faint of heart and requires a lot of bravery, but it’s well worth it.

You can also go on a hike to the Seganing Waterfall and enjoy nature’s serenity in this tranquil spot. Then, head to the Thousand Island Viewpoint and marvel at enchanting vistas of multiple islands and sweeping cliffs. There are some incredible photo opportunities at the Rumah Pohon Tree House as well, which is located on a clifftop and offers surreal panoramic views. It’s worth remembering that both men and women must wear sarongs when entering temples on Nusa Penida, so be sure to bring your own if needed.

Diamond Beach

As its name suggests, this beach is a treasure trove of otherworldly beauty. Its pristine white sand and crystal-clear waters are only rivaled by its jaw-dropping cliffs, which are adorned with diamond-shaped rock formations. The journey to reach this gorgeous spot is a bit of a workout as you have to descend a staircase carved into the side of a cliff. However, the stunning views will make it well worth it!

Once you’re at the top, be sure to check out the Instagram-famous tree houses (Rumah Pohon) that are located nearby. You can even sleep in one of the trees here if you book far enough in advance! However, be aware that this is a very popular destination, and the rooms fill up quickly.

Located on the southeast corner of Nusa Penida, this beautiful beach has several chairs lined up along its sand and is a great place to relax while enjoying a cold Bintang. This beach is also known for its snorkeling opportunities, with its clear waters revealing a kaleidoscope of marine life.

You’ll be able to find food and drinks at the numerous warungs lining the beach. Alternatively, you can sign up for a snorkeling trip with the many operators on the island. However, it is important to note that these trips are only recommended for people with experience operating a motorbike and are not suitable for inexperienced travelers.

Angel’s Billabong

The tropical island of Nusa Penida, nestled in between Bali and Lombok, has become a popular destination for travellers thanks to its picturesque beaches, rugged coastline and relaxed way of life. Experience the beauty of this island with a visit to Kelingking Beach, Broken Beach and Angel’s Billabong on this guided tour from Bali.

The natural pool-like formation of Angel’s Billabong is named after a local legend describing it as an angel’s playground, which is an apt description of this magical spot. Located on the eastern side of Nusa Penida, this unique rock formation overlooks the ocean and forms a tranquil crystal clear tide pool that is safe to swim in when the tide is low. The bottom of the pool is composed of flat rock slabs, which gives it a different appearance from normal sandy-bottom pools.

The best time to visit this enchanting location is at sunrise or sunset, when the rocks will be lit up by the morning sun and evening moonlight. The sand will glow a soft pink, and the water will be illuminated with hues of blue and green. Be sure to bring your camera, as this is a photo opportunity that you don’t want to miss. A pair of flip-flop is also recommended as the road to Angel’s Billabong can be rocky and slippery.

Teletubbies Hill

Nusa Penida is a living canvas, painted with dramatic cliffs, lush jungles, and pristine beaches. This island’s rocky landscape captivates adventurers and photographers with breathtaking vistas at every turn. Its most famous site is Kelingking Beach, a secluded cove underneath a sheer cliff with stunning white sandy beaches.

This tour will also take you to Atuh Beach, where a natural rock arch stretches over crystal clear turquoise waters. You will also visit Broken Beach, which has been shaped into a natural infinity pool, and Angel’s Billabong, where you can see beautiful coral reefs. You will also get to visit Teletubbies Hill, which gets its name from the children’s television show of the same name. The hills have a distinct shape and are full of green grass.

The best time to visit Bukit Teletubbies is in the rainy season, when the hills are lush and green. However, they can be dry and brown during the summer. You should also avoid visiting the hills during the hot afternoon, as it can be extremely hot and humid.

If you are looking for a relaxing and beautiful experience on your next vacation, this island is definitely worth a visit. It is the perfect place to escape from the hectic life and enjoy nature’s beauty. You will surely have a memorable experience with this amazing island. Nusa Penida island tour
